IPESA's seed has been planted in the April 15th of 2005 during a Foundation Meeting happened in the São Paulo University's Geography and History departments building.

So now we are living a moment of celebration and joy, and proudly and satisfied we can keep on doing what has already achieved so much.

IPESA is a Brazilian NGO dedicated to environment preservation and sustainable social development.

Our mission is to encourage the protection and the harmonic use of nature's resources and to promote social inclusion meanwhile, showing society new ways to live without conflict with the environment and with respect to the differences.

Thanks to those Who share these ideas and all the others that have been involved directly or non directly with our propositions and actions and due to a lot of hard work, knowledge sharing and acquiring during our projects and partnerships development, IPESA has kept on reaching new goals one after another.

IPESA's crew gathers many different expertise areas, specially scientific, educational, cultural and business management. Our headquarters are located in São Paulo city and our actions has taken place the neighboring towns and cities of the São Paulo's Metropolitan west side and in the small villages and townships of the same state's countryside and seaside, mostly places distanced a couple of hundred kilometers far from the city.
